.: About the UKAPP
Stacey
and Kat are the original founders of UKAPP and still remain behind
the running of the event.
Together
they have over 10 years of Pole Dance experience; they are both very
passionate about Pole Dancing, Performing and fitness. Both have full
time jobs, families and pole fitness schools but still find the time
to enjoy organizing UKAPP and attend as many pole related events as
possible
UKAPP
would not be as big as it is without the support of our partners.
UKAPP Heats are run by the following:
Bristol:
Bristol Heat is
run by Kate Johnson, Kate is the owner and head instructor for Spin
City Dance in Bristol. She is a qualified fitness instructor and
organizes many different events.
UKAPP 2010 was Kate’s first
year with UKAPP and it was a HUGE success finding some amazing raw
talent within the industry. We are happy to have Kate back on board
with us.
Ascot:
This is run by our very own Kat
Williamson, Kat is the founder of Pole Love but has decided to take a
break from instructing this year to concentrate on her family, UKAPP
and her own personal dancing. Kat has been in the industry for over 5
years now and is in a well know Pole Dance DVD.
Manchester:
This is run by Karen Chaundy, Karen is the owner of Body Barre
Pole studio in Manchester and is an industry favourite, after
exploding on our scenes 3 years ago Karen has been with UKAPP from
the start. Karen is the winner of many pole competitions including
being a FINALIST in the WORLD pole dance championship in 2010. We are
so please to be working with Karen again and look forward to the
Manchester heat.
Hertford:
This is run by Stacey Snedden,
Stacey formerly known as Pope before she married last year is the
owner of UKAPP along with Kat, Stacey’s career has gone from
strength to strength over the last few years being known
internationally for her tour managing, judging and working for a
large pole manufacturer as the sales manager, Stacey also owns her
Pole School Stacey Pole in Hertfordshire. Stacey will be taking it a
little easy this year as she is just about to give birth to her
second child.
Ireland:
This
is a new heat this year, there are so many ladies and gents in
Ireland so excited to get involved we decided to do a heat this year
in Dublin.
This will be run by Caroline Storey owner of Pole Kixs
We would like to welcome Caroline to the team this year.
