UK Amateur Pole Performer is now in its 3rd year and what a few years it has been. UKAPP was introduced to the pole world by both Kat and Stacey as they felt there was something missing in the industry and for the normal masses of pole followers. The main aim of UKAPP was to not only raise the profile of pole in general but to give amateur pole performers a chance to shine on a level playing field for them. UKAPP did become a way of life for many and we have had such a HUGE response it is with great sadness that we have decided to make UKAPP 2011 the last in its existing format as a competition.

Both of our personal and professional lives have changed massively over the last 3 years and we feel that we can no longer give the time and dedication required to run such a huge competition. We want UKAPP to remain the inspiration for many new pole dancers and we are VERY proud that we have helped to introduce and nurture so many fantastic performers such as Karry Summers, the current Miss Pole Dance NZ 2011 , Bendy Kate and the gorgeous Lauren Red. We are proud to have given these ladies the step up they needed and that they remain UKAPP supporters.

 Running UKAPP has been the most challenging project either of us have undertaken, but also the most rewarding. Watching everyday people who would never usually get up in public make the effort and strut their stuff for an audience has made us so proud. However, as you can imagine as UKAPP has grown we have faced our share of negativity as it is impossible to please everyone.

 We would like to give a HUGE thanks to all the ladies and gents who have supported us over the years especially Karen Chaundy, Kate Johnson Caroline Storey, Sally Ann Giles, Annie Norris, Sam Remmer, Miss Glory Pearl, Deb Riley, Donna Gant... The list continues.... To all our sponsors both companies and schools. To all UKAPP competitors past and present, who have the guts to get up there and show off!

So as this is the very LAST UKAPP lets make this the BIGGEST and BEST one yet.... NO Negativity NO nastiness Just lots of FUN ......
