 | Spin City
Spin
City was established by Kate and the team in 2007 with the aim of getting more women into exercise. Gyms
can often prove an intimidating environment to women, as can sports clubs -
especially if you have been out of exercise for a while.
We wanted to create an
exercise class for women that provided great fitness benefits in a social, fun
and friendly environment that was open to all ages, sizes, abilities and
fitness levels. Pole fitness was the perfect answer! After a successful
year running from Cannons Health Club, the team decided to move into new
premises, allowing us to branch out from pole fitness.
We now also offer
all levels of pole fitness class from beginner to elite, instructor training,
specific pole strength and stretch classes, pole practice classes and burlesque
and contemporary dance troupes.At Spin
City, we pride ourselves on the high quality of our team. All our instructors
go through a rigorous in-house training program, are registered with the Pole
Dance Community and are fully insured. |

Jo Dandridge
Jo Pole Fitness
is based in Godalming, Jo believes Pole fitness classes are also about having
fun, you will enjoy yourself so much you won't know where the time went!
You will meet great people who support and encourage each other, and
possibly make some great friends! Each individual will learn tricks
and spins at their own pace, when you are ready for them. As a teacher,
my main aim is that everyone leaves the class with a feeling of accomplishment,
whether you've learnt a basic spin/transition or a harder inverted trick, and
that you can't wait for your next lesson!

Pole Image Pole Image is located in the South East of Ireland. Our instructor, Lisa,
was one of the first qualified instructors in the area. Since then the studio
has expanded to 2 locations and there are now 2 other instructors, Trena &
Lyndsey. Our instructors have taken masterclasses from some of the best dancers
in the industry, including Alethea Austin, Becca Butcher, Deb Riley, Suzzi Q,
Pantera Blacksmith, Jamilla Deville & Jenyne Butterfly, to name but a few
and they continue to expand their knowledge of the sport. Lisa has been involved
in organising and hosting the South East Ireland Pole Dancing Competition and
both Lyndsey & Lisa have competed in pole dancing competitions themselves.
Lyndsey took first place in one of the competitions she took part
in. Pole Image wishes to promote Pole Dancing as a fun form of
fitness, a fusion of dance & gymnastics, ideal for sculpting & toning
the body. We believe UKAPP is a great competition as it allows
amateur dancers the chance to showcase their skills without having to compete
