UKAPP Categories:

The Competition will consist of 4 regional heats and a grand final. Regional Heats will consist of 3 Levels for the amateur section and 1 New level. The winner from the amateur section in the regional heats will go through to the final.

We will be adding a new category this year called The Instructor. Only 1 person in each heat will go through to the grand final.

We will be offering an additional place in the final for the best overall performance of the night at each heat, this will be chosen by the judges on which performance they enjoyed the most so make them fun no matter what level.

There is no charge to enter this competition this is all about the fun of performing. The Amateur section is PURLEY for Amateur’s, each entrance will be checked before accepted.

The Performer: Level 1

This level is for any amateur. However long they have been dancing, they will be judged on costume, spins and dance.
THE MORE OUTRAGEOUS THE BETTER THE MARK.

This needs to be a fun routine with lots of transitions and spins.
Intermediate and advanced tricks will not be marked in this group.
This is purely a performance group.
Markings will be on:
Costume, Theme, Fluidity, Spin Smoothness, Dance Routine, Crowd interaction, Fun Factor.

The Intermediate: Level 2

This level is for those slightly more advanced.
Open to any amateur, you will be marked on tricks.

You will be marked on everything you do...

The Instructor
This section is for Instructors who DO NOT perform for money. They can NOT have earnt any money from performances. They can not be strippers, lap dancers, or Burlepole perfromers. They can not have performed for money with anything INCLUDING a pole.

This is for Instructors who have worked there way up from student to instructor.
They will be judged on EVERYTHING......

Each person who enters will be checked ( Please do not be offended ) unfortunately to make this fair we will be asking for proof of non performances.

If any competitor has been found to enter untruthfully they will be disqualified............................
